The Medlin’s: A Renaissance Family

The Medlin’s are some of the most talented people that I know. Janine paints. Stephen and Parker can play anything with keys or strings. Wesley, though also musical, can cook. In fact, the youngest Medlin made a home made pumpkin pie once that I still think about. An evening with them is less like time with friends and more like being with family.

I’m not really sure where we would be without their relationship or impact in our lives, and frankly, I do not like to think about it. Because, I know there would be an absence of love, music, support, laughter, encouragement, and community that comes standard with knowing them. I am so thankful to be one of many who gets to receive their gifts that go far beyond what they can do. It is more about who they are as people.

  1. Carrie, Thank you. It was such a fun day! We will talk, but I wanted to let you know that we love it all. You have such a gift with words and with capturing people on camera.
I thought people had to die first to have such nice things said about them!
